Sequel to New Super Mario Bros DS. Pretty much Wii's #1 Christmas hit. It's the first Mario side scrolling platformer released on a home console since Super Mario World .

So far reviews and reception have been mostly positive.

Yeah, Nintendo's playing it fairly smart with the Wii, opening the market to a much broader audience, re-releasing classics and making games based on classics to really play off of the increased popularity in nostalgia.

I like the game. I just hate when a mushroom guy gets captured and I gotta beat a level again to save him lmao..

i enjoyed it. only fun with 4 players though.
