To be released November 17 (along with Asassin's creed 2) features 4 new survivors in a new setting (new orleans, other areas too i think) it has 2 new game modes along with the old vs and survival mode. Along with this they have 3 new special infected that i have seen so far. The Jockey, The Charger and the Spitter. The jockey can jump on the survivor's head and make them move in a direction they want it's about 7:4 Control for the infected which sounds lame but not only does he do damage while steering but he can lead a survivor into a trap. The charger he's basically a mini tank, he charges (as his name implies) into the survivors and grabs one while knocking the rest on their ass, once he's got a hold of a survivor he beings to pummel them into the ground/wall until the other survivors free the helpless fool. The spitter is basically the anti-camper, she's by-far the ugliest of all the infected her ability is to spit acid or fire (may be other types of spit) that turns the ground into a death trap for the survivors. These three combined with the old special infected(who all will be recieving a make-over/new sound effects) will lead to some very difficult campaigns for the survivors and personally i can't wait.

The 2 new game modes are called scavenge and the 2nd one is called realistic mode i think?

In scavenge the survivors have to find gas cans scattered across the map and bring them back to whatever it is that needs the gas, meanwhile the special infected are trying to stop them. The team that gets the most gas cans wins.

Even though Modern Warfare 2 and Asassin's creed 2 are coming out around the same time, L4D 2 remains to be one of the most anticipated games this fall

honestly i cant wait to play modern warfare 2. but unlike modern warfare 2 i have actually been keeping track of what's coming out for l4d2.

and ill probably be playing mw2 ac2 and l4d2 evenly when they come out.

but unlike ac2 and mw2, l4d2 has me creaming my pants in anticipation.

That's disturbing. I would get L4D2, but only one of my friends has it. If I'm going to get that game, I want the full 4 player coop play.

Played the demo yet? How is it, different enough from the first to get it? I know you'll be bias but meh
