Charizard- Bellyzard absolutely kicks ass can't imagine having a team without him
Last but not least my beloved Yanmega, so so so underrated 1-1 can take out anything and usually ends up taking out half an opposition team when he gets going, very hard to handle and punishes the foolish who send out blaziken and infernape against it. Heck it's even raped alot of heatrans in its time

Brobat is a pretty cool guy, eh takes Hyper Beams and doesn't afraid of anything.

Other than that, Celebi is awesome. Slaking too.

Articuno is win. Mewtwo, Lapras, most of the starters and their evolves.

Squirtle. Way back then, I first thought the name was 'Squirt-Turtle' Whenever I said that, people just gave me funny looks.
