Download Headliners
Quote:Rage Against The Machine, Aerosmith and AC/DC have been confirmed as the headliners of this year's Download Festival.

The bands will top the main stage at the Donington Park event on June 11 to June 13 and are joined on the bill by Them Crooked Vultures, 30 Seconds To Mars, Stone Temple Pilots, Megadeth, Bullet For My Valentine, Motörhead, Deftones and more.

Rage Against The Machine recently confirmed the details of a free gig in London's Finsbury Park on June 6 and will also play the Dublin O2 two days later.

Earlier this month, organisers of Download announced that flags will be banned from the main arena of the site this year after an "overwhelming" number of complaints at the 2009 event.

Could be worse.

RE: Download Headliners
Yeah I'll go as I usually do. I want to see RATM, I'll probably watch Aerosmith but I really dislike AC/DC. Thing for me is there is very few "other" bands I'd see, thats what takes up most of your day. I'll probably watch LoG, I will watch Them Crooked Vultures, Deftones and Stone Sour but apart from that there's very little I'd watch.

Nah it's still going. It will sell out though. It's 180 quid with campan. It sounds a lot but when you think about it, here are the bands I'll see for sure and how much it'd cost to go see them in concert in terms of ticket price:
Coheed and Cambria: £20
Wolfmother: £20
Them Crooked Vultures: £35
Cancer Bats: £15
Atreyu: £15
Lamb of God: £20
Deftones: £25
RATM: £40ish, I have no idea tbh (or free :3)
Dillinger Escape Plan: £15
Motorhead: £20
Stone Sour: £20
Aerosmith: £10 birrion dorrars.

Either way thats well over 200 quid if I was to go see them and thats without trains and stuff D:

I went and I saw 16 bands. It pissed it down today, got the wettest I've ever been. Luckily my dad came and bailed me and Andrew out with dry clothes so we could go watch Stone Sour and Aerosmith respectively. Was a pretty good weekend tbh, Deftones, Atreyu, Stone Sour and RATM were epic so really glad I went ^^
